Low impact, low risk uses

Under the Planning Scheme, minor development proposals often require consent rather permission and taking these proposals through a full planning approval processes can cause unnecessary delays.

The Planning Commission is working to identify areas of the Planning Scheme in which immediate reform would make the process more efficient for community and developers alike.

This includes looking at the way the Scheme assesses minor development proposals from low impact, low risk users.
