Tennant Creek Land Use Framework 2013
The Planning Commission completed a Tennant Creek Land Use Framework that was incorporated into the NT Planning Scheme in June 2013.
The objectives of the Tennant Creek Land Use Framework include:
- providing for orderly and appropriate land use and development for a growing population
- affirming the primary of the existing business hub on Paterson Streetpreserving the existing rural character of established small lot rural subdivisions
- providing appropriate areas for future industrial development to west of the town.
The Tennant Creek Land Use Framework can be found at Clause 4.5 of the NT Planning Scheme.
